VINEYARDS

The vineyards of Domaine de la Pertuisane form a patchwork of parcels scattered around the village, each with its own character and aspect. There’s no irrigation, no wires – just Grenache trained en gobelet: low, stand-alone bush vines perfectly adapted to the heat and wind.

The vines grow in schist, a fractured metamorphic rock that splits vertically, forcing roots deep in search of water and trace minerals. This struggle limits yield, concentrates flavour, and gives the wines their complexity and unmistakable mineral edge.

“We farm each parcel sustainably, working by hand and with respect for nature, because we believe the best wines are grown, not made.”
